Our Craft

Slow by Design

We're not a factory with a rustic logo. Everything here is made in small batches by actual people, on an actual schedule — which means some things sell out and some things take a little longer.

Source

We buy botanicals from growers we've visited, and oils from suppliers who publish their testing.

Infuse

Herbs steep in carrier oils for four to six weeks. No heat shortcuts, no rushed extraction.

Pour

Batches are mixed and poured by hand, in runs small enough that every jar gets checked.

Cure & Label

Soaps cure for six weeks. Everything is labelled by hand with the batch date and full ingredients.

Started on a Kitchen Table

WellnessCrafts began as a way to solve one small problem: everything on the shelf promised calm, and half of it smelled like a chemical spill. So we started making our own — first for family, then for friends, then for a farmers' market stall that kept selling out by 10am.

We've grown since, but the process hasn't changed much. Same small batches, same short ingredient lists, same rule that if we wouldn't use it on our own skin, it doesn't get sold.

What People Actually Say

No paid reviews, no influencers — just customers who came back.

"The calendula balm is the only thing that's helped my hands through winter. It's unscented, which I asked for, and Mara actually replied to my email within a day."

— Rachel M.

"I bought the candle-making kit as a gift and ended up keeping it. The instructions were genuinely clear, and the wax was good quality — not the cheap stuff you get in most kits."

— James T.

"The soaps last ages and don't leave my skin tight. I've stopped buying supermarket bars entirely. The packaging is paper, which is a nice touch."

— Priya S.

Questions

Things Worth Asking

If your question isn't here, email us — a person will answer, not a bot.

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?

Many are, and every listing includes the full ingredient list so you can check before buying. We offer unscented versions of most balms and soaps. If you have a known allergy or a skin condition, patch-test first and check with your doctor — we're makers, not dermatologists.

How long do the products last?

Balms and salves keep for around 12 months from the batch date. Soaps last 18–24 months if kept dry between uses. Candles are best within 12 months for the strongest scent throw. Every item is labelled with its batch date.

Why do things sell out so often?

Because we actually make them by hand. Soaps need six weeks to cure, so a sell-out means a six-week wait for the next batch. We list the next pour date on each product page so you know what you're waiting for.

Is your packaging really plastic-free?

All orders ship in paper, card, and glass. The only exception is the inner seal on some balm jars, which is a compostable plant-based film. If any order arrives with plastic, email us and we'll make it right.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship across the US and Canada, and to the UK and EU on a slower service. Candles can't ship by air to some destinations because of the wax classification, so the checkout will flag it if that applies to you.

Can I return something I don't like?

Yes — unopened items within 30 days for a full refund. If a product has irritated your skin, contact us and we'll refund it without asking you to ship it back. We'd rather know than have you struggle with it.

Start With One Small Ritual

You don't need to overhaul your routine. Pick one thing — a balm, a bar of soap, a candle for the end of the day — and see how it feels.
